Smoking Policy Acknowledgement

Community Hospital recognizes the importance of maintaining a healthy and safe environment for all employees, volunteers, patients, and visitors.

All employment offers made to individuals for a position with Community Hospital are contingent on the individual being cleared for employment with drug testing and background/reference checks.

Individuals are screened for:

  •    illegal drugs,
  •    and/or tobacco/nicotine use.

Individuals whose results are verified positive for illegal drugs and/or tobacco/nicotine use, and/or whose reference and/or background checks are unsatisfactory will be disqualified from employment, their job offer will be withdrawn, and they will be disqualified from applying for employment for 12 months from the date of disqualification.
