The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is directly responsible to the Respiratory Care Clinical Supervisor, Medical Director of Respiratory Care, and the Director of Pulmonary Services. The RCP provides respiratory care services to patients of all ages. These services include assessment and reassessment of clinical conditions where indicated, determination, implementation, and documentation of appropriate therapies. The RCP provides education according to current department standards for patients, families, community members and other staff.

Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Respiratory Therapy. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT); Registered or registry eligible. Possess Valid California license for respiratory care. BLS, ACLS, NRP. Acute care to include critical care experience (ICU, NICU) is preferred. Two (2) years or more experience in field of Respiratory Care is also preferred.
